I have several browser profiles, and I wanted to ensure that I can access specific sites only from one profile, by blocking the site on the other profile.
At first, custom adblock rules don’t work at all. It turned out that domain-based custom rules are only applied when “Trackers blocking” is set to “Agressive”, not “Standard”. This is absolutely not obvious. I only found it out from a random comment on an old github issue.
Then, when I finally got it working and the site is blocked, it turned out the site is now blocked on all browser profiles! So this is of no use to me…
How to block a top-level domain on one specific profile only?
