Constantly logged out of Google accounts (Gmail, Drive, Docs)

Description of the issue:

I suddenly started getting logged out of my Google accounts (Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.) a few times per day while using Brave.

Exact URL of the website in question:

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)

YES

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?

YES

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):

NO. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Disabled “Clear cookies and site data on exit” (so data isn’t wiped automatically).

  2. Removed all extensions.

  3. Confirmed Brave is fully updated.

  4. Using only one profile.

  5. Shields for Google sites are set to allow third-party cookies.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?

Only use Brave

Brave 1.82.172 (Official Build) (64-bit)

@lekko Thanks for your patience. The team is still investigating, but It looks like there is an upstream fix on the way with Chromium 141 https://chromiumdash.appspot.com/commit/69c59708e6d61a6478964ff04259cf0efd7cf959. Please see https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/49837 for updates.

@steeven no worries, thanks for getting back to me. Do you reckon the Beta version or a previous version of Brave could help?

hey guys, the issue stopped but I am not sure why - probably the bug was fixed.
