This is known to happen time to time, as YT/Google will frequently change their ad-block detection. I will inform the team that some users are seeing ads and we’ll get this resolved.

@Mombius_Hibachi just letting you know, it’s like he said…it’s going to happen randomly to people. Reason why you likely have it resolve in private window is because YouTube/Google tends to inject a cookie when it “detects” an adblocker.
This has been going on for many years now and the same answers are having to be given each time. Such as PSA: YouTube Adblock Detection from 2023.
It doesn’t matter what browser or adblocker you use, they all will encounter this. YouTube will try to make changes and then the content filters for adblockers adjust. It’s going to happen like this forever.
You are using little to no extensions. If you have an issue, remove them entirely or test in private or new profile. You’ll tend to see issue won’t persist when you do this.
Don’t use custom filters if possible.
You may have to clear cookies/cache, as some have reported the warning will continue to show until then.
Cheers for the quick reaction and tips! I deleted my cookies and It seems to be working again, dont know for how long. I’ve set the settings to delete cookies after leaving the site, hopefully this keeps helping. Luckily the private browsing does still work.
Again thank you and good luck with trying to avoid the ads, I love the browser because of it
Hello everyone, I need your help my adguard extention not worked in brave browser. All ads shows only https://redzhubscriptbloxfruit.com/. Tell me any solution if anyone have.
I have the same problem with youtube and I get the message shown in the first post saying I’m using an adblocker, but I get the English message It’s 4th September. 11.00 am. (In UK). Youtube is working fine in a private window.
I went to that url brave://settings/shields/filters. Not sure what I was supposed to do. I got a list of Content filters/filter lists, and at the bottom it said “update lists”. I clicked that and no change in youtube blocking. Did I do the right thing? The big list of filters had tick boxes alongside that were all unticked . Is this correct? I have no idea what any of this means by the way !
Hi, I still can’t watch you tube videos on Brave - I have the you tube ad blocker black box message on you tube screens (“Ad blockers violate you tube’s terms of service” etc). I can view OK on Brave private window, but not on the normal Brave browser. Anyone have any suggestions, or is it the same for everyone at the moment?
I am experiencing the same issue as of a couple of hours ago. Youtube wont play without ads and I ve made sure to update brave to the latest version. I tried deleting all youtube cookies. Didnt work either
@gazzie@yiorc try going to brave://components and ensuring that the Brave Default Adblock Filters component is fully up to date ( you can click Check for update to force the browser to check for any available updates).
I’ve started having this problem with the adblock starting around some time in the afternoon yesterday and I’ve tried this and multiple other things and nothing seems to work other than opening a private tab.
