Brave is now (just recently started) blocking Proton mail site

Description of the issue:

When try to open my proton mail account in a Brave browser window, I now get the following error message:

mail.proton.me is blocked

mail.proton.me refused to connect.

ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

Expected result:
It should be opening up my Protonmail account when I click on my saved link or when I type in the protonmail.com address. Brave has always allowed me to open my proton mail account. This has only been happening in last 2-3 days. I get the error message noted above, but Brave does start opening multiple Brave/TOR windows, which I’d rather it did not do that as I have to manually keep closing them.
Reproduces how often:
Every time.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Windows 10 Home
Brave is up to date
Version 1.60.110 Chromium: 119.0.6045.105 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
My protonmail account does open in other browsers and in TOR.

Can you tell me if the site launches at all? That is, are you able to land on the site and enter your login information? Or does the site throw that error before you’re able to do that?

It throws the error right off the bat, no option to enter login info. Sight won’t launch at all.

@Mattches @hhb can y’all both reference Just Updated Brave Beta to Latest Build and Getting Blocked Error for Brave Official Website Along with ProtonMail and see if the solution is the same here?

Yes, this apparently was my issue too:
EDIT 2
It was the “Automatically redirect .onion sites” setting. It’s actually fixed now. Must have turned itself on when the update happened.

I turned that off, and now Protonmail opens just fine in Brave.
