In both screenshots you are on the same website. Since you didn’t fill out the required template, I’m going to assume you’re only testing one website. Can you please test others?
I am also on Android (OnePlus) and cannot replicate this bug, and you’ve tested two other phones.
When this happen, every tab stays like this, not just a single website. It works normally after i restart the browser by closing (clearing from memory) and starting the brave browser again..
I’m gonna assume if you made this post from mobile, maybe the forum engine Discourse has a bug, because you aren’t the first person to not submit a template, and not the first to state you didn’t see it either. I’ll paste it for you below (Namely at this point the Brave Version and Android Version are the more important details since while you didn’t list the steps to reproduce, I can infer what it is you described):
Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. For this reason, we have provided the template below for you to fill out with information about your issue. Please provide as much detail as possible so we can most efficiently resolve your problem.
I have been using Brave for a while now, and have not experienced this so far. I have also switched between multiple devices in that time, including a Samsung and Redmi device. So, it does not seem to be a bug affecting everyone.
So, I assume it might be some Settings you restored from your previous device while setting up your device, which is somehow causing issues in Brave.
I use brave sync actively. Otherwise i have not imported any phone setting. In brave i use aggressive ad blocking and enabled some content filtering to hide YouTube shorts..
As I mentioned, if you have been facing it in two devices, it is definitely something wrong at your end.
It might be some settings which you restored from Google while setting up your Poco. Sometimes, those settings can cause weird issues, so maybe this is one of them?
Have you tried resetting your phone, and not restoring from Google backup?
No, i always do a clean setup. I use superbackup app to backup call logs, and sms manually and export as file. I restore later post setup. So totally clean setup. I won’t even use google, only when i don’t have any choice..
That is weird then. It would have made sense if it was only happening on your Poco, but if it was even with Samsung, and you didn’t restore from backup…
It would be really difficult for devs to help you, since it is not a common bug.
