For some reason Brave has blue highlights instead of orange ones. I did not download anything new and I cannot seem to fix this issue. See the photos for reference

Chalk it up to sub-surface, trendy, chic interior decorating that is beyond the reach of ordinary Brave Browser users’ browser controls. And, “not your father’s Oldsmobile anymore.”

Not random; but also, not surface level ← means not a setting within the ordinary Brave Browser user’s reach … thus: “sub-surface”.
Oh I thought it was an only me issue because I did not see any other posts about it and the only one I saw with a similar issue was on nightly build @289wk
I also hate this light baby blue accent color.
What was wrong with orange?
Each to their own and preference but I detest that shade of orange: it’s vile.
I solely use Beta and on previous versions the accent color was default orange. I could circumvent this by changing a couple of flags to get the blue accent but it wasn’t always that stable and thankfully - for me - it now appears to be the default, or at least for the time being.
If Brave wants to preserve the orange accents for its branding that’s fine, but at least dial it down to a softer, pastel shade such as peach or whatever, rather than this horrible gaudy shade they use.

Horrible improvement. Especially in dark mode. If it has to be blue now, for whatever reason, please tone it down (a lot). But I’d prefer having a choice.
