Description of the issue:
Brave is eating up my ram. In the above pictures, I only had around 5 tabs open, but Brave is hogging up around 2-3 gigs of ram. Compared to Chrome (which has more extensions installed), Brave is almost hogging up x2 the resources.

How can this issue be reproduced?
Issue appears whenever I try to open more than a couple of tabs at once.

Expected result:
I expect 5 tabs to only take up around 1 gb of ram?? Not too sure what the expected result should be

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.8.96 Chromium: 81.0.4044.138

Additional Information:
I only have 9 extensions installed.

Does this happen immediately, or only after the tabs have been open for some time?

Does Chrome have the exact same tabs open, and extensions installed?

This usually happens after the tabs have been open for sometime. Chrome has all the exact same extensions installed (+ a couple others on top of it) and all the same pages open.

It doesn’t happen every time - just enough to where its become an annoyance (computer starts lagging, I open up task manager to see 3 gigs of ram taken up).
