Description of the issue
While browsing Twitter/X, the browser suddenly crashed when I scrolled down the page. After reopening Brave, the “Restore Pages” prompt appeared. When I clicked “Restore,” the browser crashed again immediately.
Since then, every time I try to type something into the address bar or search bar, Brave instantly closes itself. I can access and navigate through Settings normally without any issue.
I also tried opening brave://crashes/ and successfully clicked the “Send Now” button. However, when I click on the “Provide additional details” field, the browser crashes immediately again, so I’m unable to submit extra information there.
Because of this, I wanted to ask for help here instead.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Brave browser
- Try typing anything into the address bar/search bar
- Browser instantly crashes and closes
Actual Result
Brave closes immediately whenever I try to use the address/search bar.
Expected Result
The browser should remain stable and allow normal searching and URL input.
