Block element button question - mobile device

hi so I was told there is a block element button in this browser but when I go to look for it it’s not there. Im using this browser on a phone

Brave Search (Answer with AI) alleges:

Android:

  • Tap the Shields icon (shield) in the address bar.

  • Select Advanced controls.

  • Choose Block element, then tap the specific item on the webpage you wish to hide.

No easily available function on mobile iOS devices. Requires using Developer Tools re Safari (iOS) and Brave Browser (iOS):

It depends a lot on which phone OS you mean. On Android I would look under the Shields menu for that site first; on iOS Brave is much more limited and the desktop-style element picker is not really the same feature. If you add Android/iOS plus the Brave version, people can probably tell you whether the button is missing or just in a different menu.
