@Gabe_s and @pinksmoke this is a known issue and they have been working hard to find out the cause. Feedback from users is helping to narrow down some possibilities and they are working on potential fixes now.
The Github issue linked by @Evan123 was recently closed due to there being lots of off topic replies and arguments. To make things easier to track, they opened a new issue, https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/49300
I’d highly recommend you read through what is said there by Clifton and then just keep an eye out on that Github issue for any updates. I don’t know that anyone has an exact ETA but I do see they are trying to put something together at least as a test.
