Almost all history is gone. History that remains is from march and I used this browser yesterday
My default search engine was replaced with google! This is bs.
Expected result: I WANT MY SEARCH AND BROWSER HISTORY BACK, ALSO I HAVE BEEN LOGGED OUT FROM ALL WEBSITES. NOT SOME WHO IS USING THIS BROWSER RIGHT NOW CHOOSE YOUR USER.

That folder that you suggested looking at contains. Folders AdBlock Custom Resources (contains files 000003.log, CURRENT, LOCK, LOG, LOG.old and MANIFEST-000001) and Session Storage (only file in it is Current)
No old or current or last session.
If session data is kept there then it has been removed or deleted and my trash doesn’t have files from today, yesterday nor even from this month.
My guess is, there is a connection between the processing therein, and, the mysterious loss of a Brave Browser user’s Profile data (a mixed bag of history, passwords, tabs, etc.) that plagues some Windows OS users of the Brave Browser.
In your case, a Brave Browser process used data from the History-journal file, in order to restore at least something of a History file.
