Hello,
After Brave prompted me to clear browser data due to low disk space, all the favicons on my bookmarks bar disappeared. They now only appear on open tabs, but not on the bookmarks bar itself.
I’ve already tried the following steps:
Restarted the computer
Cleared cache
Visited several bookmarked sites manually
However, the favicons still don’t reload on the bookmarks bar.
Could you please advise how to restore them?

I already tried restarting the Mac, clearing cache, and manually visiting bookmarked sites, but the issue persists.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Simply open Brave — the bookmarks bar loads without any favicons.
Expected result:
Favicons should automatically appear on all bookmarks in the bookmarks bar after visiting the corresponding sites.

I DOUBT this is going to be the fix, but there has been a minor macOS update which I’d encourage you to upgrade to, either to 15.7 .2 or if you are now willing and able to there is 26 .1 available now too… I just upgraded to the latter on Monday (was waiting for it). More Info Here.
Beyond that, I’m not sure what else there could be done on my end, so for now I’m going to tag in more support…
@Saoiray @Mattches if you could help this user out, and in doing so as well, the user from this post (Note: other user is on Windows, this OP is macOS so assuming it’s NOT an OS thing), when you can, it’d be appreciated.
@RVo once you visit those sites, they will fetch and load the favicon moving forward. When you cleared your browsing data you also likely cleared those stored images so the browser needs to fetch them again. This will happen when you first add a bookmark or a top-site tile for the first time as well if you haven’t already viewed that favicon yet.

So I think there’s more to it than the simple solution you’re suggesting, though I of course could be wrong… and I did see it and thought of connecting with the similar post here, but I could guess for them they did have the simple solution since they lost their history too.
I did miss part of that. @RVo can you try creating a new profile in the browser and test to see if the favicons/bookmarks images are fetched and appear as expected in the new profile?
Go to the Hamburger menu/very top right of Brave Browser the three lines > More Tools > Add a New Profile…
Basically it resets everything in Brave to default without losing everything you currently have setup now.
Pro Tip: To figure out where your profiles are or what numbers they are if you make future ones, you can see them under Profile Path @ chrome://version
(brave:// or chrome:// part doesn’t matter, since Brave is built on Chromium)
Let’s try and stay away from words like “reset” as it implies that their original data gets wiped.
@RVo when you create a new profile you’re just starting a fresh/brand new browser profile that has it’s own set of data separate from your other profile(s).
Sorry I guess the wording could have made things a bit scary (though I did say “without losing everything you currently have setup now.”) but I get it, start fresh seperately is better. 
It worked! In the new profile the favicon do load!
So now what? Do I just switch to the other profile? Can I migrate my setup to the new profile? I did import my bookmarks of course.
