No bookmarks in Brave after Bookmark imports from Chrome

Description of the issue: No Bookmarks in Brave after Import of Bookmarks from Chrome

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Install Brave (I’m on a MacBook Pro M4max)
Turn off all Chrome related activities including the browser
Request import of bookmarks from Chrome
Brave says that is has imported all the bookmarks
No bookmarks can be found

I’ve tried it about 10 times, same result = no bookmarks in Brave

Can you try exporting you bookmarks from Chrome directly as an HTML file and then import that file into Brave and tell me whether or not that works as expected?
