The address bar spontaneously disappears from time to time. The only way to get it to reappear is to force quit and reopen the app.

Unfortunately it’s just too annoying to deal with. I have no choice but to switch back to Firefox.

I’m just a user like you, and while I don’t have these issues, you do what you need to. That issue indeed would be more than just annoying to me, it’s effectively a “defect” since a browser needs an address bar.
In the meantime though, I suggest poking in the other thread and mentioning you as well. I’ll be happy to cross reference to get some traction hopefully. Most I can do as a user.
I’m also still experiencing the random disappearance of the address bar on the current version of brave. Seems the update didn’t fix the problem. The only solution I have found is to exit the app swipe it away and relaunch the app for it to return back to normal.
