Since the latest update, a down arrow has appeared in the top-right corner of the Brave browser on both of my devices; when I hover over it, it says “Search for tabs.” When I click the arrow, the Brave browser automatically closes (crashes). Sometimes the arrow doesn’t respond at all. I thought it was just on my device, but it’s the same on my other device. Additionally, I downloaded a fresh installation of the browser on a third device, and it behaves the same way.
Version 1.89.132
Before the update yesterday, I didn’t even have that option or icon.
Strange, I do not have that icon, however if I do invoke tab search, it pops up at the very top left of my primary screen, disconnected from the window:
Looks like this feature may be broken. In your case you have an icon that’s supposed to invoke this but can’t, and I don’t but have a menu entry that can, but it spawns off-window.
This is a known issue that was caused by changes in the Chromium code:

- The chevron next to the minimize button in the screenshot should not be appearing, the updated UI should not include it. Several users are reporting that it is in the UI, and when clicking on it it is causing the browser to crash. Team is investigating how these users have it enabled.

I am also facing the same issue after the latest update 1.89.132 , did you find a way to fix this ???.
Also toggling vertical Tabs in the settings > appearance crashes the browser in the same way .
Right above your comment.
