I’ve just started having issues with YouTube as of yesterday. Basically, when I select a video, it will show me a black screen where the player should be. When I click the empty player, it will begin playing the last played video — not the video that I clicked. It will do this even though the screen shows the new video’s name and description. The only thing that fixes the video is refreshing the page every time.
What’s weird is turning off the brave shields doesn’t fix the problem. Clearing my browser’s data and reverting settings doesn’t fix the problem, either. It doesn’t seem to be an extension, because they’re all gone now. Yet, browsing when signed out still works fine.
Has anyone else been having issues like this and have you figured out what to do? I’ve left feedback to google and brave about the issue.
