Youtube is very Slow and Laggy

  • Test in private window mode, no extensions.
  • Check ≡ → more tools → Task Manager to see which tabs/extenstions is using which resources.
  • Re-enable Hardware acceleration (if its disabled).
  • Disable other browsers while testing
  • Clear the cookies/cache in brave://settings/clearBrowserData and restart the browser (and relogin into youtube)
  • Finally test in a clean Brave profile
