Wrong colors with 1HDR and 1SDR display

Colors of Brave are wrongly rendered after moving the Brave window to HDR display and back or after display turn back on after power save. The colors on the SDR dipslay look like are reduced to 256 colors or something like that. OS: Bazzite Linux with KDE 6.5.5

Other Linux users on KDE seem to also have this problem:

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Move the brave window more than 50% to the HDR display and then back to over 50% on the SDR display

  2. Or this also happens 75% of the time when the window is on SDR display and the displays turn off due to powersave and turn back on

Expected result:

Colors stay normal

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Brave 1.86.142 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)

Chromium: 144.0.7559.97

Additional Information:

It’s not reduced to 256 colors, lol, it’s gamma crushed because the wrong curve is being applied (S curve when it should be linear).

From another user, the fix currently is –disable-features=WaylandWpColorManagerV1 which indicates it’s a problem between Chromium and Wayland in some way.
