Self explanatory

Self explanatory
Hi, Welcome to the Community!
I see how that is messed up but if you want support to help you fix things you have to give more information for support to work with
(bare minimum which Brave Version you are using, maybe OS too, as in are you up to date?)
(FYI, if a Brave Employee caught you doing this, THIS could have been the result… again trying to help you here)…
So, use the template, you can copy and paste the template below (don’t use the quote feature) and edit your original post above by clicking the pencil icon at the bottom of it:
TEMPLATE:
Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. For this reason, we have provided the template below for you to fill out with information about your issue. Please provide as much detail as possible so we can most efficiently resolve your problem.

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?
Expected result:
Brave & Chromium Versions (check Brave Settings > About Brave & Copy/Paste):
Device, Operating System & Version (check System About Section & Copy/Paste):
Additional Information:
That said, I’m guessing you just need to update your GPU driver, so as per: https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/wiki/GPU-issues---incident-reports
Things we can try before proceeding…
Also extremely useful to know:
Are you referring to the buttons not being centered? I can absolutely verify that here but only under a very certain condition: Vertical tabs is enabled.
(If I turn off vertical tabs, this issue doesn’t happen). I’d recommend you fill out the form requested, but I am seeing it here on Windows 11 25H2 and Brave 1.84.139, but only when vertical tabs are enabled (and when the window is maximized, when not maximized, the icons are placed correctly).

For me under flags:
Force color profile: scRGB (required for me, I have a 30-bit color depth SDR desktop so I need scRGB, this wouldn’t be causing this glitch).
Skia Graphite: Enabled (I have a Radeon, without this I get colored blocks like others on RDNA3 graphics, likely fixed by a driver update by now but this has been a bit smoother?)
I did turn both back to default and re-tested, no change.
That ends my end of trying, but I didn’t use the form since the original poster should be posting their specs, not mine. (But I can for certain say it might not be a GPU driver issue, my ThinkPad is Nvidia/Intel whereas my desktop is AMD, and both are having the same exact issue under the same vertical tab mode).
Thanks for the assist @MasterLink, I wasn’t ENTIRELY sure if it was the GPU Driver needing to be updated (though updating everything is always good anyway), hence why I said:
Also @zariel, I’d encourage you to come back tomorrow or during the week to continue troubleshooting, Brave employees typically take the weekend off, so if you don’t get it fixed bump it with a comment (maybe by saying you’ve edited your original post and filled in the template… hoping that you do to help yourself) for a response to get a Brave Employee’s attention for further support… due to the volume of Topics created on a weekly basis, it’s good to be persistant but patient.
So just to confirm, others such as Edge, Microsoft’s own Chromium port, is mimicking it?
(Not an argument, just a confirmation, because it seems both have a similar vertical tab mode, but two different implementations of it.)
Ok, thanks for verifying.
It doesn’t bother me personally if that’s the case by choice. I personally didn’t notice, I don’t use vertical tabs, I only noticed they were and switched to test.
Closing this as OP provided no details around the issue (just saying it’s “self-explanatory” is not helpful) and hasn’t replied since being asked to. @zariel happy to help you with your issue if you follow the Community guidelines.
