I don’t know if it’s a mistake or if a new feature was added. Why don’t they leave Brave Shields in the top right corner like it was before? I don’t like how they left the shield on the left side of the URL.

I’m pretty sure it is just new design. There have been a lot of complaints about people wanting a cleaner/slimmer UI. They seem to have merged it together into the one icon for site information.

That said, curious to see how it will pass down the line. Will they add toggles and let people show/hide on the right if they want? Will it be exactly as it is in Nightly? Or what?

It would be great, as you said, if they added a lever that the user could choose on the left or right. Personally, I’d prefer they leave it as it was before, on the right.
Yeah just in Nightly for now, will be moved into release down the line. I’m not sure if there will be a flag or toggle to change the position or appearance of it – just asked to confirm.
