i have Recently downloaded Brave and, it seems that what ever last website i used before closing down brave, the next time i open brave the last website pops up. does someone know how to fix this and just open like if a new brave open up. thanks

You can change the behavior. Go to brave:settings > Get started > On startup > Change to Open the New Tab page.
