  1. Having OpenGL as your graphics profile in the flags page

  2. Vulkan is disabled

  3. Hardware accelaration is enabled (no –disable-gpu flag)

Expected result: Every button is responding but no graphics are displayed.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.81.131

Additional Information: Getting it back to default (DX11) fixes the problem

@acharron just to confirm, you’re just repeating some of the information that is in the pinned topic at Resolution for Windows users on Release Channel 1.81.131 and you’re not having any separate issue or anything, right?

I’m sorry then, i might have missed it, its my first time in this forum, never used it before.

You’re fine. I just wanted to confirm that it was indeed the same issue. It’s appreciated that you came to share the information to make sure the issue and potential workaround is known. Thank you for that.

At least it can be said that it is a known issue and they are working on a solution. For now, it’s having to do as is stated in both your topic and the official post. Hopefully it won’t take long for them to properly fix it so people can go back to using the other OpenGL settings again.

Oh, actually, I missed one of the more recent update. It seems this won’t change unless it is fixed by Chromium.

Closing the above as the issue ended up being related to users changing brave://flags/#use-angle to OpenGL which stopped working in C139 whicih was released via 1.81.x .
