Using Bing as the default search engine sometimes causes a white screen

Description of the issue:
When using Bing as the default search, and then typing directly into the address bar, it just loads a white page. The frequency I’d say is every few weeks or so. But I’ve had this happen for a year more or less. It’s currently happening to me, so Bing through the address bar search is unusable.

Using private window doesn’t fix the issue. Nor does reloading using ctrl+F5, nor does clearing the site’s cookies and data from the search bar.

This is the format used by Brave by default to substitute a search term when Bing is the default.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
Not installing it, but I do have Chrome Portable, from PortableApps.

Site works? Yes and no.

There’s a difference. Chrome allows for changing the default to Bing as well, and it even shows when you check it in settings:

https://www.bing.com/search?q=%s

BUT when actually searching through the address bar, the URL that it goes to is the following:

https://www.bing.com/search?q=test&PC=U316&FORM=CHROMN

‘test’ is the search term I used, but notice the &PC=U316&FORM=CHROMN

Brave does not have this. Brave does as instructed, and purely goes to, and blanks on:

https://www.bing.com/search?q=test

Weirdly, what I find by setting up a manual search engine using /bi since the default /b URL cannot be edited, if I do something like this:

https://www.bing.com/search?q=%s&qs=n

Then using /bi, which should function just like /b (the default), will always work without fail.

From what I can determine, it seems that using the raw…:

https://www.bing.com/search?q=%s

…Like Brave does, has some issue with either the browser itself, or with Bing not liking it.

When I set up a manual /bi search engine in Chrome like in Brave, Bing refuses to load as well in Chrome just like in Brave.

Having the same issue and it doesn’t appear to just be Bing however, I attempted Google as the browser just because it’s the “widely used” choice by folks and I’m still getting that blank white screen.

Same issue once again occurring. White screen on the official /b Bing search term, but when using the above version, it works without fail.
