I tried to update Brave on macOS Mojave from Brave Version 0.68.132 Chromium: 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) and got the following error:
Update failed (error: 11)
Error details:
An error occurred in retrieving update information. Please try again later.

Ok, it is working fine again for me – I think it was an issue with the update server which has been resolved.
@ana.vc @vivekrp is it fine for you too? if yes, then we can close this thread…
I believe @TheRealQubix is correct – we had some server outages last night that have since been resolved. Please let me know if you’re still encountering the issue.
