I am new here and I just noticed that I can’t upload or download anything. Is there any permission to change? If yes*… HOW?

It simply blocks any download or upload saying that I need permissions that’s it. My OS is 12.7, Brave 1.81.136

Go to System Settings

Navigate to Privacy & Security.

Look for the Files and Folders section. Do you have Brave allowed?
You can manage the Download location here: brave://settings/downloads

Hey Evan, in Download section everything looks fine, but I am struggling to find the files and folders section, I can’t find any section with that name under privacy and security, I would upload the screenshots but unfortunately it doesn’t allow me of course. Do you have the whole path to go there?

@Emilio47 the location may be slightly different since you’re on an older OS version. I’m seeing Files & Folders here in Privacy & Security:
You should be able to use the spotlight search on macOS (Command + Space) and search for “Files & Folders” to find it.
