Description of the issue: Unable to click on buttons/search boxes on websites browsing through brave latest version

How can this issue be reproduced?

Prerequisites

brave version 1.89.132
mac os - tahoe 26.4

1. open gmail

2. left click on search box to type in some text

3. Unable to click the text box

In the video attached I am trying to constantly left click the gmail search box so that I can type something in it.

I have tried the same on other websites like https://www.findthatmail.com/, https://devx.notabene.id/ when trying to click the company name. Ideally the click should send the user to the home page of the website but mouse doesnt change to click on hovering.

Expected result:

Should be able to click buttons and click text box to type in text

Additional Information:

I have only 2 extensions on - google translate and last pass

Not having this issue on my end. Can you please try:

1. Launch Brave
2. Click Menu > More tools > Guest profile
3. Close your original profile window
4. Login to gmail or any other site where you see this issue in the guest window
5. Test to see if you see the same behavior there

I did what you said .

I see the same issue in the guest window. I verified if the issue happens in chrome . The issue does not happen in chrome browser

I think @bnx1 is correct here – this issue should be resolved in the next browser update:
