Expected result:

Reproduces how often: All the time.

Operating System: Linux (Bazzite Desktop)

Brave Version: Brave 1.82.172 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 140.0.7339.207

Additional Information:

Disabling autocomplete suggestions for the address bar does stop “Top Suggestions” from appearing, but as soon as it is turned on even if all five options are disabled, “Top Suggestions” start being suggested.

@Froogh Go to Settings → Search, which is brave://settings/search. Turn off Improve Search Suggestions

Then advise if you notice a difference. I’m thinking issue is that the two kind of overlap. When I have both disabled then I don’t see what you’re mentioning.

This fixed the problem. Thank you very much, sir. Have a great day.
