Top left bar covering tabs

I like the Brave browser very much, but I wish something can be done to fix the small flaw when using it full screen. Chrome has all their tabs shift a bit to the right to leave room for the three function buttons, so even when I am in full screen the buttons would simply appear and not blocking any tabs. Brave doesn’t seem to do that, and the blocking of tabs is really affecting the user experience negatively.
