Today 29-07-2025 you use swf2js! message is on every webpage and will not leave

Description of the issue: On literally every webpage I visit see this message that says “Today 29-07-2025 you use swf2js!” and sometimes it says “Today 29-07-2025 you use ruffle!”. This started about last week on Wednesday when I started a new online school and it would say “Today 23-07-2025 you use ruffle!” and it would follow to every school webpage I visited. I used brave on my laptop for school and I think it synced something because now these messages are showing up on my pc now and it shows on every webpage I visit. the only website I don’t see it on is youtube. Every other site says it anywhere you go.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. I don’t know exactly but
  2. Try visiting an A+LS or cimlearn.com webpage and look at an assignment

Expected result: You will probably have to restart brave or wait awhile but the “Today 29-07-2025 you use swf2js!” should appear.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave is up to date

Brave 1.80.124 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Chromium: 138.0.7204.168

Additional Information: I tested this on my phone and it didn’t show up. I tested this on chrome and it didn’t show up. It’s only appearing on brave desktop. Please help me get rid of these messages because it is upsetting me and cluttering up my browsing experience.

I am getting “Today 29-07-2025 you use ruffle” have you figured this out? Idk why its happening

this is because of extensions that revives flashplayers. delete it and you will see it is removed.

I forgot I installed a flash player enabler and I removed it and now the messages are gone.
Actually thank you so much cause literally half of the webpage would be covered by these ruffle messages and I couldn’t see anything.
