Description of the issue:
Since the last time i updated Brave, I’ve noticed that accents aren’t working. I tested the keyboard, and it’s working normally. I tested it in other programs and browsers, and it works fine. When I use the virtual keyboard, it works, so i believe it’s not detecting my keyboard input. Please fix this; even with downgrades i haven’t been able to solve this problem and i need to use accents.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
1 - Start Brave in any page;
2 - Press accents keys, like “´“ or “~“;
3 - Press the key 2 times or just another letter key;
4 - Notice when this don’t work.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
I can’t write using accents and forced to use another browser to do it.
Expected result:
I press a accent key, and its works. Like “é” ou “ã“. Actually impossible to me without copy and paste or virtual keyboard.
Reproduces how often:
Always, since i updated the browser. I did the downgrade to a old version in flatpak, but don’t fix it. And i can’t return to old version i’m used.
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Linux 64bits, Brave version 1.84.181
