Suggestions about brave

Hi Brave team,

First of all, I want to say how much I appreciate Brave. The speed, privacy, and ease of use are already outstanding, and it’s definitely my go-to browser for everyday use. However, there are a few areas where Brave could be improved to achieve perfection.

  1. Speed: Although Brave is already fast, there are some heavy web apps and sites where even Brave has slight delays. For example, when using complex web apps like Figma for design or Notion for team collaboration, Brave can show slight delays compared to other browsers. Perfecting this to ensure zero lag on all websites, especially resource-heavy ones like media streaming or complex web apps, would make Brave even better.
  2. Privacy: Brave is already great with privacy, but being Chromium-based, it still has minor telemetry data tracking for performance reasons. While this is anonymous, reducing even this minimal data tracking would make Brave 100% privacy-focused. For example, Google services (like Gmail or Google Maps) sometimes send back anonymous data for performance improvement, which Brave could eliminate entirely. Ensuring zero data collection and strengthening the privacy layers would be a game changer.
  3. Customization: Brave has great basic features, but more advanced customization options could really make it stand out. Adding features like:
  • Themes and color schemes for full customization of the interface (like Vivaldi allows for multiple theme options and interface tweaks)
  • Advanced tab management (tab stacking, tiling, tab groups, etc.) — Vivaldi excels here, allowing users to manage tabs in multiple ways (e.g. grouping, tiling for side-by-side views, etc.)
  • Panel customization for quick access to bookmarks, notes, or web panels (this feature in Vivaldi allows users to have their bookmarks and panels in a dedicated space, making multitasking easier)

These additional features would truly make Brave the most customizable and user-friendly browser, ideal for both casual users and power users alike.

Thank you for your hard work, and I hope these suggestions are helpful for making Brave the perfect browser!
