Something has changed in my Brave browser

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. I don’t know. I rebooted my computer and it still doesn’t work.

  2. I have Brave pinned to my task bar. I right click. There is no option for a second window and no option for private browsing. They both worked yesterday.

  3. I am really not technical enough to know what you want here. I use Windows 10 Professional. 10.0.19042 Build 19042 on an Asus laptop. with PC Matic Supershield. Nothing has changed that I am aware of between yesterday and this morning.

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.91.171 Official 64-bit
Chromium 149.0.7827.103

Additional Information: All I know is it was working yesterday and today it’s not.

If both “New window” and “New private window” disappeared from the taskbar right-click menu, I would check whether Brave still has them inside Brave itself: open the three-dot menu or press Ctrl+N / Ctrl+Shift+N. If those work, it may just be the Windows taskbar jump list being stale, so unpinning Brave from the taskbar, opening it from Start, and pinning it again is worth trying. If Ctrl+Shift+N also does nothing, then I’d suspect a policy/security tool blocking private windows.

Both of the suggestions you gave me work.
And I don’t know what’s going on, but right-click is also working again.

I am going to keep these short cuts until I remember them because I didn’t know them before. Thank you, andreanas!
