Description of the issue:
Some bang commands on https://search.brave.com/bangs doesn’t point to the stated URL.
Currently confirmed on my end is that !applemaps cupertino points to https://www.google.com/maps?q=cupertino , when it should point to https://maps.apple.com/search?query=cupertino .
This suggests to me that some bang commands are outdated and/or unusable.
Brave Version (check About Brave):
Brave 1.87.168 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
Chromium: 144.0.7559.59
Operating System:
Fedora Linux 43 (Sway) x86_64

Re Brave Browser (iOS) using !applemaps, I get:
Also getting that, using DuckDuckGo, testing !applemaps in DuckDuckGo’s URL address field, and testing in DuckDuckGo’s search field:
Brave Browser (iOS) Search Engine settings, with no Quick-Search Engine selected:
@Mattches if you can relay this along, it does indeed seem to be broken. Typing in !applemaps will result in a google.com/maps search rather than one done on maps.apple.com
