Go to any video on youtube.com using the iphone mobile browser

After video plays for a while, try to click the Youtube logo at top left of page to return to home page, click share or basically any button
Expected result: For buttons to work as intended

@Amandaripley can you please update Brave to the latest build of the browser (v1.85.116 at the time of writing this) and then test to see if the issue persists?
I did and the problem still persists. (I just want to clarify that this is in reference to the mobile browser.)
I have to refresh the page in order for the website to allow me to tap on anything.
Can you confirm for me whether or not disabling Shields for the site allows you to tap through it?
It seems like when i turn off the shields the problem goes away.this of course is not ideal because then i’m bombarded with ads
I only checked a few videos though so i will play around with it more later today and respond again.
Of course not, that’s why testing these are a part of the template. Helps speed up the root cause to deploy a fix.
Now we know something on shields for iOS is affected, but not on Android/Desktop. That helps a lot to narrow things down actually.
Testing on my end on Brave 1.85 (116) (latest Brave iOS build) Youtube seems to be working fine with Shields enabled. Can you try turning Shields “on” and then within the Shields panel (on youtube) toggle the individual protections “off” and test to see which one of them is causing the issue for you?
