Saving file in Brave Browser for iOS fails

Hi,

I have switched my default browser on iOS 26.1 to Brave Browser. Almost everything works.

The only exception is saving files. Sometimes I have to download a PDF file. The download starts. A blue progress bar like thingy is displayed at the bottom. It goes to 100%. Then invariably says that it failed.

Opening the settings (…), I can see a Downloads action. It takes me to a Downloads folder hosted within the Brave folder on the iPhone. That folder is always empty.

I have searched the forums for details and I couldn’t find anything related to this issue.

I’d appreciate any suggestions/ideas/workarounds.
