Description of the issue: Dowloaded files do not seem to be saved in iOS’s Files download folder anymore.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Find a file to with a download link and click it
Brave notifies you that files is downloaded with an option to navigate to ”Downloads”
If you choose to go there, it redirects you to Files downloads folder (iCloud) and nothing was there.
Expected result: It is used to stay on Brave and takes you to an internal Brave downloads page with a list of download history, including the latest one.
UPDATE: I suppose what you’re saying is clicking on a downloaded file link in the downloads section of Brave browser SHOULD send it to where I pointed out ABOVE but what you’re saying is it’s sending it to the BELOW place INSTEAD?:
Hello friend.. It is sending me to the last visited location of Files app, wherever that be.. And yes, I checked Brave downloads older at both iCloud and Phone storage; it was not there..
What worked is to simply restart the iPhone altogether and this revived the downloads folder once more..
