Perhaps I should post this as a “bug report” because the fact that address/payment autofill doesn’t exist on iOS Brave is something that makes the mobile app almost unusable. Tabs pile up as I leave them open just so remember to open them on desktop later and complete more easily so I don’t have to type my ENTIRE shipping address, billing address, 16-digit credit card number all ONE CHARACTER at a time, in this the year of our Lord 2026, when every single other mobile browser has address/payment autofill.
Brave for Android has this feature, while us iOS users have been waiting and begging for address/payment autofill for over 7 years. Is Brave not “for” Apple/iPhone users? Is this the devs’ way of saying “Brave is for the Android community”?
I’m certainly grateful for all the hard work the Brave team does every day, but I’m also confused as to why this simple feature has been “in progress” for so many years.
(This is especially frustrating when the app has, in the years that we’ve been begging for the app to feel complete with this feature, since shipped a multitude of other, less useful features like AI (never once used this), crypto (don’t really trade on the go), playlists (I listen in other apps), rewards (I don’t need an extra 5¢ per month), etc etc.)
Any reassurance that address & payment autofill is coming soon to Brave for iOS is much appreciated
