Updated Brave to the latest version 1.85.112 on my 10.61’ tablet and noticed that several sites have shrunk or look different in portrait mode (e.g Wikipedia or forum sites)
I also use temp notepad data:text/html… and even there, the text looks smaller than before so I had to change zoom to 130%.
Why this arbitrary change? Who needs smaller text and squeezed webpages?!
We did not make any changes to the zoom level of pages. The changes for any release can be viewed on our release notes page:
I’ve asked our Android team to see if someone has a tablet of a similar size to test this and see if they see the same issue. In the meantime, can you please share a screenshot of how pages display in portrait mode on your end?
Here is a cropped image of how text looks like in temp notepad. The font size used to be bigger (same thing when opening a .txt file in Brave)
Some sites still look different in portrait mode compared to full, landscape mode (never in use)

Speedtest before and after refreshing the page. The view changes again on re-opening Speedtest.
