Firefox has a feature I would like to see in Brave. When you visit a web site and download a file to a folder, it remembers the last time you saved a file from that web site and selects that folder as the default download location.
Use case: I do numerous financial activities online. In a given session, I visit several unrelated web sites, saving bills, statements, and reports to a folder associated with each institution. When I click the download icon, Firefox knows where I last saved a file from that site. Brave has no such memory, so in the download dialogue I have to navigate each time to the folder for that web site. This feature alone is why I continue to use Firefox – it’s a time saver, and reduces the chances of downloading to the wrong folder where the file might be impossible to find.
