Pulling URLs to bookmark bar

With Google Chrome I could pull a URL to the bookmark bar to save it. I live on the internet. So, I constantly bookmark interesting or important pages. With Brave Browser, I have to use the bookmark icon to decide which folder to place a bookmark in. If I choose to simply add it to my bookmarks, it goes to the bottom of my numerous bookmarks. Then, I need to drag it up to where I want it. This is very time consuming.

I did try to use the sidebar but it was no better and I found nothing in the settings to change this.

I have created a temporary work-around. I created a folder that I named hold and placed it at the top of my bookmarks. I would prefer to simply drag to where I want a particular bookmark.

Could you, please, add the ability to pull a bookmark to the bookmark bar and place it where I want it without going to the extra work that is now required?

Thanks

@Dinamo I don’t get your issue? I just tested and if I drag any link from a page to the bookmarks bar, then it saves the bookmark there. It seems to work on Brave just as it does on Chrome.

Am I misunderstanding something? Maybe you could share a video or more in-depth of what’s different?

Wow! I am so stupid. I must have changed the settings. It now does so.
My apologies. Feel free to delete my request.

Well, it did do it. Now, it doesn’t again. What might that be?
