Description of the issue:

Whenever I try to go to this website using Brave - https://www.politicshome.com/ - I get the following message.

This site can’t be reached
The web page at https://www.politicshome.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_HTTP2_INADEQUATE_TRANSPORT_SECURITY

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

The website opens in Edge without issue, so it’s not a problem with the website itself.

The problem is occurring repeatedly.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Windows 11. Brave 1.80.120 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 138.0.7204.101

In a Brave Browser (“BB”) New Window, go to Site Details for the hostname (www.politicshome.com):

brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.politicshome.com

Click the Reset permissions button. (Or, click the Clear data button , if available.)

In a BB New Window, go to Site Details for the domain name (politicshome.com):

brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fpoliticshome.com

Click the Reset permissions button. (Or, click the Clear data button , if available.)

Exit / Quit everything. Restart computer. Run BB. Test.

Tip: Notice how the following portion of the Site Details links, is a constant, or fixture, if you will:

brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2F

. . . followed by hostnames or domain names:

  • www.politicshome.com
  • politicshome.com

If problem remains (or you might try this initially), then, in a BB New Window, go to: brave://settings/clearBrowserData

Set “Time range” to “All time” and clear data:

  • Basic tab > ENABLE Browsing history
  • Basic tab > ENABLE Cookies and other site data

Exit / Quit Brave Browser; and Restart computer. Test.
