Description of the issue: The PDF page at https://www.sos.mo.gov/cmsimages/business/corp45.pdf came out completely black when printed. I then saved the PDF and opened it in Atril (Linux PDF viewer, part of the MATE desktop environment suite, but I’m running in in XFCE, on Devuan), and there, it printed perfectly.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Just go to the above URL and try to print the PDF directly from there.

Expected result: Should come out normal – but doesn’t

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.96.59

Additional Information: My printer is one I bought in early 2019, and it still works – a Canon TS-3122.

Have you checked the print settings in Brave and compared them with Atril? Different applications can have their own print settings and handle PDFs differently.

I’d start by checking whether Brave’s print preview looks correct. If it does, but the printed page comes out black, try adjusting the print settings or using the system print dialog.

Since it prints correctly from Atril, it sounds like the printer and PDF are fine. The next step would be figuring out whether it’s a setting in Brave or an actual rendering issue.
