Paid Brave Search Premium subscription, but still get adds

Hi. I am Brave’s biggest fan. I’ll stay even if I have to pay more and see ads, because at least Google isn’t manipulating what I see, and therefore think. Still, I’d prefer to receive what I pay for, which is ad-free search. Am I misunderstanding the benefits of a paid search subscription? Thank you, and keep up the EXCELLENT work!

First, can you confirm that this occurs when you’re using Brave Search in Brave browser? It is worth noting that Premium Search service is only available when used in Brave.

Lastly, if you log into account.brave.com and click Go to Premium Search in the Search subscription box (in the Your plan subscriptions section of the account page), do you still see ads?
