Requested feature
Add an option to sort selected tabs alphabetically (ideally by tab title, optionally by URL/domain) within the current window.
Problem / why this matters
When you have dozens (or hundreds) of tabs open, related tabs often end up scattered across the tab strip because they were opened at different times, from different domains, or via multiple workflows. Even if you can multi-select tabs, there’s no fast way to “cluster” them into an orderly block without manually dragging each one. This creates friction when trying to:

group tabs for a task (research, shopping, debugging, travel planning, etc.)

reduce cognitive load and find duplicates

clean up before closing or bookmarking a set
Proposed behavior:

Allow users to multi-select tabs (or “Select all tabs”), then apply Sort selected tabs A→Z (and optionally Z→A).

Sorting should operate only on the selected tabs, keeping all unselected tabs in their original positions.

The sorted tabs should remain selected after the operation.

Primary sort key: tab title. Optional secondary sort: hostname/domain or full URL for users who prefer it.

Open lots of tabs across multiple sites over time.

Select a set of tabs related to one project.

Run “Sort selected tabs A→Z” → those tabs become an organized block, making it easier to scan, close duplicates, or bookmark.
Why it should be seriously considered

Lowers tab-management overhead for heavy tab users without changing default behavior for everyone.

Fits naturally with existing multi-select mental models (apply an operation to the selected items).

Improves organization and discoverability, especially when tabs are scattered and manual reordering is time-consuming.

Complements Brave’s productivity focus without requiring a full “tab groups” workflow.
