When you right-click a tab and the menu opens - it should contain the option to sort all of the tabs (by title).
I often end up opening 50+ tabs and many of them end-up being duplicates. If there was an ability to sort the tabs by their title - all of the duplicate tabs would become grouped together after user clicked the sort option. That would in turn make it trivial to close all of the duplicated tabs.
**Brave developers, please consider this.
Topic**: I would like there to be more tab organisation features.
Encouragement: The tab-groups function is already highly helpful for organisation, but can be improved so tabs do not need to be individually moved to a tab-group.
Suggestion: Automatic tab grouping by website:
1. proposed 1st phase
Start this feature small by only offering it for most used sites (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, ChatGPT, etc)
- example: Select βtabs-quick-groupingβ of βYouTubeβ - result = all YouTube tabs in the active window are grouped together, unless already grouped manually by the user.
- implication: This makes it easier for the user to go through a digital declutter before leaving the window.
- proposed 2nd phase of implementing the βtabs-quick-groupingβ feature:
- user can type keywords in the advanced-tabs-quick-group feature to quick-group by topic across a variety of websites
- example: user selects βadvanced-tabs-guick-groupβ - user types in topic window βshoppingβ - result = all tabs involving shopping are grouped together into a tab called βshoppingβ (Amazon, Temu, Alibaba, Wish, Etsy, etc.)
Yeah, I would also really like these features
