We can’t rearrange bookmarks manually, change order. Custom order doesn’t work
@Thord when you created this topic it generated a template asking for details like which version of Brave you’re on and which OS you’re using. I’m not sure why you chose to delete it and not answer any of the needed information?
Bookmarks can be manually rearranged on all OS. So I’m not sure why you’re making this claim?
Since you did not share anything about your device or situation, it’s hard to know which instructions to give you. And I don’t feel like showing how to do it on every single one. So please be sure to explain more of your issue.

sorry about not giving more info, either i missed it either my account was immediately on hold and couldn’t do it.
Brave version is v1.86.148 (Feb 4, 2026) and OS is Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC.
The thing is i’m opening bookmarks bar, select organise-sort by custom order and when i drag bookmarks are moving but when i release they return back where i got them.

Note that, while less convenient, you should be able to sort your bookmarks in the bookmarks manager and the ordering there should be reflected in the sidebar view.
