We wanted to inform our users that we are aware of a regression in the Brave Origin Nightly and Beta “upgraded” installs on both Desktop and Android that causes some features that were previously disabled (via Settings > Origin) are getting re-enabled again after a recent update.
The team has already submitted a fix for this issue that should resolve this. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the Nightly and Beta builds don’t have a manual QA process and as such, bugs/issues are more frequent, as they are intended for testing and gathering feedback on browser changes. We recommend using the stable build of the browser for the smoothest experience.
