Critical failure! Android v1.94.3 - Brave Nightly

Hi team,

I bought it, but in this version, all that cryptocurrency garbage and AI garbage showed up again (Android v1.94.3).

Please fix ASAP!

That is Brave Browser Nightly - not Brave Origin standalone.

For Android, Brave Origin Nightly is available as an upgrade to the existing Brave Nightly app rather than a separate download. Users can access it by:

  1. Downloading the Brave Nightly app for Android.
  2. Tapping the main menu (⋮), selecting All Settings, scrolling to General, and tapping Origin.
  3. Then, either of the following:
  • Purchase via Play Store: Tap Buy now to purchase the license directly through the Google Play Store.
  • Enter Existing Purchase ID: If you already bought Origin on a desktop, tap Verify Brave Origin purchase (or similar wording depending on the version) to enter the Purchase ID you received via email.

The standalone Brave Origin Nightly for Android, is not yet available according to:

‘https://versions.brave.com/’

I can confirm. Even when all the extras are disabled from the brave origin menu all the crap shows up in the browser.

Taking a look at this now, thank you for reporting.

Looks like this is a known issue that is getting resolved. That said I do recommend moving away from Nightly to avoid these issues as Nightly is specifically made for testing and doesn’t get QA’d and bugs are expected.
