YT videos don’t play any sound (speaker, BT headphones, wired headphones). Sound works on all other websites (even YTMusic). I have added YouTube to the sound allowed websites in settings. YT works in Chrome and Edge.
How can this issue be reproduced?
I don’t know, it worked yesterday and now it doesn’t.
Additional Information:
Version 0.68.132 Chromium: 76.0.3809.132
@StLa,
That’s strange – to confirm, if you click the “lock” icon then Site settings and scroll down, you see Sound set to Allow, correct?
Additionally, if you visit Youtube in a private browsing session, do you get the same behavior?
Hey, thanks for bothering!
After a Windows update and restart, the issue was mysteriously solved (restarts didn’t do anything until now). Guess Windows had a problem with Brave.
@StLa,
Glad to hear that it resolved itself. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should the issue occur again.
