NBA League Pass is not working

Description of the issue:

NBA League Pass won’t play on Brave browser. Widevine is enabled an, I also tried disabling Brave Shields, but streams still won’t load. Works fine on other browsers, but I prefer using Brave as much as possible.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10 Pro x64, Brave: v1.83.118

@Nicky04 Some questions for you. I’ll start with Widevine since you mentioned, but I’ll touch on some others as well.

  1. If you go to brave://components and try to update Widevine Content Decryption Module on the list, does it show any errors?

  2. If you haven’t tried yet, would you check to see if it works in a private window?

  3. In same token, could you create a second browser profile and advise if it works there? That’s the hamurger menu (three lines on top right) → More Tools → Add New Profile. This will create a secondary profile which has most settings at default and no extensions. It’s a nice troubleshooting step to see if it’s a profile specific issue or happening within all the browser.
